Age Group:  3-4 years old
The Robin Room is set up to feel like a home away from home. Natural light as well as real materials from home represents a cozy environment where the children feel secure and comfortable. Elements from nature are brought in as loose parts for us to explore and admire throughout the room. Family pictures are in a visible area to celebrate our unique diversities and  to add a touch of comfort from home. We also enjoy collaborating with families, especially sharing cultures and traditions.
Outdoor Adventures
In the program we love to play outside and explore nature, we venture out in all sorts of weather conditions. Children love exploring puddles, mud, sand and snow! To ensure that your child has a great experience, we ask that you provide outdoor gear that is weather appropriate for the season and some extra clothing to change into after they get wet or muddy. After all Children are 100% washable!
Making Learning Visible
All explorations, discoveries and adventures are documented. We include a short description of what is taking place in photos, art and interesting pieces of the children’s work. We display this documentation on our bulletin board in the hallway for parents to enjoy and see how we collaborate and grow together. Our programming is an emergent curriculum, activities and projects are based on the interests of the children, which creates a unique and enriched learning experience.
Come see what the centre is doing

We encourage families to participate and be an active part of our classroom.  At the end of your child’s time in the Robin room we send home a portfolio as a keepsake. It is a great way to see how much your child has grown throughout the year!
